 Welcome!

I completed my Masters in Clinical Social Work at Smith College in 2007. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCSW-C/LICSW) working with individuals and couples. I integrate traditional psychotherapy practice with mind-body and energy health modalities, including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, Gottman couples theory, EMDR, EFT, mindfulness and meditation.

I provide virtual psychotherapy to residents of Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and Colorado. I am also available for in person sessions in Boulder, Colorado. During my years as a psychotherapist I have worked with families, couples, groups, and individuals. I have provided therapy for a wide range of diverse populations including adolescents, young adults, university students, premarital couples, new and expecting parents, GLBT individuals & couples, immigrant populations, active duty military members, veterans, and military family members.

I feel passionate about providing culturally sensitive support. I assist clients in obtaining the emotional skills and tools they need to empower themselves to reach their full potential. I work with clients and couples who feel overwhelmed with life's challenges and transitions as well as those who experience anxiety and difficulty moving beyond their past. I provide premarital therapy for couples and work with expecting and new parents to support them in the transition of bringing a new baby home. I assist clients in creating healthy, empowered, and balanced lives.

I am looking forward to speaking with you! Nikita
