Therapy Via Online Video

I offer virtual therapy sessions through a secure, confidential, HIPAA-compliant video platform (Doxy.me). Online therapy has become an

accessible and effective way for many people to receive support, and it offers several meaningful benefits:

  1. Convenience: Meet from the comfort of your home, office, or while traveling — without commuting, parking, or arranging transportation.

  2. Privacy: No waiting rooms or concerns about being seen entering or leaving a therapist’s office.

  3. Flexibility: Sessions can fit more easily into a busy schedule, often without needing to take time off work or explain your whereabouts.

  4. Accessibility: Virtual therapy makes support available to clients who live in rural areas, have limited mobility, or are far from specialized providers.

  5. Continuity of Care: If you or your therapist move, online sessions allow your therapeutic work to continue without interruption (as long

  6. as licensure permits).

  7. Scheduling Ease: Online sessions often allow for more flexible appointment times than traditional office visits.

Because teletherapy laws vary across states and continue to evolve, I currently provide virtual psychotherapy only to residents of Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., where I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker.

Online therapy is also known as teletherapy, virtual therapy, e-therapy, or digital therapy, and it can be just as effective, connected, and

supportive as in-person work.
